Held each February, The Jaycee Winter Classic is a men's slow pitch softball tournament in which all the proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of Michigan Area 36. Teams from all over the Midwest converge on Marquette's Superior Dome vieing for the title of the Midwest's best softball team and a handsome cash prize. However, when the last pitch is thrown the Special Olympics are the real winners.
